What canvas do we use?
We use 100% pure brilliant white canvas 280gsm.
What print resolution do we use?
We use 1440 DPI - Twice the typical resolution that other canvas printers, this means you get a much sharper quality picture.
Can we do other custom sizes?
Yes we can do, if you would like a size that you cannot see on the website please get in touch with us via the ‘Contact Us’ Page.
If I order today does that mean I will receive the canvas within 48 hours?
Our courier operates on a 24-48hour delivery service. However your order can take 24-48 Hours to be produced and dispatched.
I take professional photos do you ever reuse them?
No never, we typically keep your photos for up to 3 months. Please check our privacy policy for more details.
Will the colours of the print be same as on my monitor?
As there are many types of monitors out there, resolutions and configurations, we cannot guarantee that the print will match the image on your monitor, as colours on different mediums act and appear differently. We do however use colour correction techniques, high quality printers and inks to get the best result possible.
Choosing canvas size based on your image size
For best results, we recommend at least 50 pixels per inch. If your image doesn't meet the requirements, the canvas sizes are greyed out above. If you wish to disregard our recommendations and order a large canvas anyway, then please tick the box.
Do I need a certain pixel sized image to have a canvas made?
That depends on what size canvas you would like, although the higher the pixel image the better the quality of the print. Uploaded Smaller photographs pixelate and blur when stretching to larger sizes, so think carefully about the photo and your choice in size.
Choosing Frame Depths
We have a choice of frame depths. You can choose from; 1” Depth or 2” Depth. This is how thick the canvas edges are. 1” depth is standard, and 2” depth stands off the wall more, giving a greater effect.
Varnish – UV Protection
Adding varnish to your order is a great addition. It will help protect it against UV Light, which will extend its life and stops discoloration and fading, varnish makes it damp/moisture proof and also helps enhance colours and contrast.
Bleed Options
‘Mirror Wrapped’
As Standard we copy the outer edges of the photograph, and mirror it along the sides allowing you to have the whole original photo on the canvas front.
‘Stretched Wrapped’
Your photos are stretched around the canvas box frame. (This can mean that parts of your image will be wrapped over the canvas sides)
‘White Edges’
Your canvas will be left with white sides, and your full image will be on the canvas front.

If You live out of the UK Mainland - Such as; Ireland North Or South, Scottish Islands & Highlands, Isle of Man, Jersey, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly - More postage is needed! If you choose the wrong option, you will be asked to pay the extra, or your item will be delayed and sent via Royal Mail Standard. It is up to you to choose the right option!

U2Canvas.co.uk operate a full and fair returns policy. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 any unused product purchased through our site can be returned within 7 days from the date of receipt for a 100% refund, if in its original condition and in the original packaging.
The only exception to this is when Personalised prints, Personalised Gifts and picture mounts have been custom-made to order, in which case we are unable to except returns or give refunds.
However, all we ask is that you pay the cost of returning the goods to us via the same method we used to originally dispatch the goods to you, or via Royal Mail with Recorded Delivery for your safety and reassurance. Customers are solely responsible for return payment and safe return of goods undamaged.
We will carry out an inspection of all returned prints and originals to check for signs of use (scratches etc) that would prevent us from reselling them as new. If the goods are in mint condition, or condition as explained, a 100% refund or re-print of an item will be issued. If payment has been received in advance we guarantee to refund your money within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.
By uploading your pictures and photos you confirm that you fully understand that you are stating that you have full copyright release for your photos or pictures to be printed and that u2canvas .co.uk will not be held responsible for any unauthorised copyright laws.
The quality of your photos is your own responsibility; we can only print what you send to us! We do print at 1440dpi whereas some other canvas companies print at 720dpi. We accept no responsibility for errors made by you during the ordering process.
